Just a quick update.
I finally made it over to Sprint, walked in the door and showed the rep my issue when sliding the keyboard out. Immediately she said “let me see if I have a spare battery” and disappeared into the back of the store. A quick switch out of the battery solved the problem.
Apparently the space behind the battery is the problem. Some of them have more of a gap than others and when any force is applied, can cause the battery to disconnect. So I have a shiny new battery that solved a very annoying problem.
Now that I’m up and running, once I have a fully charged battery I should start with pictures and information on how it all works out. More to come…
